HVAC Design Engineer
Full Time Permenant Position - Pune, India (Remote)
As an HVAC Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design and implementation of HVAC systems for diverse projects across the UK and Gulf regions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC design and expertise in relevant software applications.
Roles and Responsibilities
Design and develop HVAC systems for commercial and residential projects in compliance with international standards.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure HVAC designs meet project requirements and specifications.
Utilize software tools such as HAP, Revit, AutoCAD, and EnergyPlus for load calculations, system design, and drafting.
Prepare detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
Conduct site assessments and provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases.
Detailed MEP Coordination model / drawing within allotted time frame & quality that is desired. Clash detection and resolution using Navisworks manage.
Learn and work using various services standards such as CIBSE, BSRIA, RIBA, ASHRAE, EN and building regulation codes.
To understand Heat loss and gain calculations using IES/HEVACOMP/HAP, ventilation and water calculations.
Able to perform Duct sizing and pipe sizing calculations using BIM Software. Preparation/Modification of Revit families.
Manage and attend co-ordination meetings when requested.
Necessary Requirement
BE/BTech/ME/MTech Mechanical Engineering.
5+ years of experience in HVAC design, with proven experience on UK and Gulf projects.
Proficiency in HVAC design software, including HAP, Revit, AutoCAD, EnergyPlus, and other relevant applications.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, load calculations, and energy efficiency principles.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
